Back: Chapter Six
Alyssa paced in her room in the Illusti’s castle, feeling restless.
The extraordinary inhuman pleasure the Illusti created was amazing, of course, but sometimes… you know… she wanted something more personal. Rougher.
Maybe it was time to go out and kill something.
Alyssa’s armor walked her over to her bed.
Wow, it was seriously creepy when it did that.
It laid her down on her back on the bed, arms stretched out above her head, her legs pulled far apart.
The armor flowed away from her body, leaving her naked and spreadeagled, with only bands of the armor left imprisoning her wrists and ankles like cuffs, holding her in place.
Alyssa knew it was futile to struggle, but struggled hard anyway, feeling acutely vulnerable. Her attempts to escape the armor pinning her down were of course useless. Panting, she wondered if she had offended the Illusti in some way, if this was a punishment.
The Illusti stalked into her room.
“What—” Alyssa began to ask.
He caught her by the throat and squeezed lightly, not enough to choke her out, but enough for the blood to thunder in her head. She could feel the heat of his hand on her throat, burning hot, not hot enough to hurt, but hotter than a human hand would be.
The armor flowed across her eyes, blindfolding her.
Suddenly she wanted him more than anything.
“Ooohhh…” she tried to say something, she didn’t know what.
He took her roughly, savagely, with no pause for her pleasure, just thrusting, pounding into her, his member hot within her, his body like flame against her skin, Alyssa’s yelps and cries echoing in the castle.
Afterwards she lay naked, curled against his warmth.
He stroked her hair. “You will come to love me dearly, Alyssa,” he said.
Alyssa snorted sleepily in amused disbelief, and fell asleep.
Alyssa and Nali found a town where a roving band of marauders had moved in, terrorizing and killing the men and raping the women.
Within moments the marauders all lay dead in a heap around them.
Despite being used to violence as an adventurer, Alyssa felt a little sick. She wasn’t sure killing was supposed to be this easy.
The grateful townsfolk began to emerge.
Nali’s voice rang out.
“Men, through your inaction, you allowed the women of this town to be despoiled. One in ten of you will die for this crime!”
Alyssa put her hand on Nali’s arm.
As First, she could reach through Nali’s armor as if it wasn’t there. The reverse wasn’t true: to Nali, Alyssa’s armor was as impenetrable as it was to anyone else.
“No,” Alyssa said to Nali, “we leave that to judges.”
Who, Alyssa hoped, wouldn’t punish the men for being helpless and terrorized.
Nali glared at her. “They are guilty!”
“That isn’t for us to decide,” Alyssa said. “We bring people to justice, we’re not tyrants.”
She doubted she had convinced Nali, but as Second there wasn’t much Nali could do about it.
Now, if back at the marriage ceremony Alyssa had hesitated for longer than she had, then Nali would have been First, and Nali could have killed all the men in the world in her rage and Alyssa wouldn’t have been able to do anything.
Alyssa looked for a distraction. “Hey, yesterday I heard of a nest of vampires not too far from here that’s been abducting local men and women, draining them dry.
“Let’s go clear them out.”
